Will Moreau refuses to fall into any simple/typical category. He is anxious and most interested in doing avant garde and non-traditional roles in feature or short films or staged productions. A consummate actor, Will Moreau is available for independent films, fanciful characterization and portrayals. A character Actor, by training, he is able and interested in projects that require accents and roles of diverse ethnic backgrounds, not only Native American roles or characters. Will Moreau has studied dramaturgy at the graduate level of higher education. He has worked in many capacities in video, film, industrial, stage, and musical theater. He has also worked in improvisational theater, method acting and workshop developmental projects and productions in development.

Will Moreau has performed in theater with community, regional and university companies and for many years. Moreau has performed in both (LORT) regional venues and professionally on stage in dramatic and musical theater and in film/video. A "Native Son" from the Nation's Capital, he has performed in theaters throughout Washington metropolitan area including the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts numerous times in the Concert Hall and Terrace Theaters. With the Washington Metropolitan Opera Company, he appeared in Mozart's classic "Abduction from the Seraglio." He also served as the Artistic Director for the Native American Theater Company in the Nation's Capital "The Free Spirit Players" from 1982-1987.

Will Moreau is an active member of the Alumni Association for the George Washington University(GWU), Department of Theater and Dance (CASTS). With a Bachelors Degree from GWU, he appeared in several main stage productions at Marvin Center Theater, Trinity Theater. He completed his bachelors degree with a double major including Anthropology and Communications (TV, Radio and Film Production & Performance) at the George Washington University, where he studied voice performance with Professor Steve Prussing, Music Department. After Graduating, he worked in the field of Communications/Film and Video for over 10 years.

Will Moreau has professional degrees from the Pennsylvania State University, University Park. At PSU He appeared in staged productions at The Charles Schwab Auditorium, Milton S. Eisenhower Center for the Performing Arts in Pennsylvania at the Central Pennsylvania Arts Festival Concert Stage. As a Penn State student, Moreau was a member of the Penn State Thespian Student organization. At the Pennsylvania State University (PSU), where he earned his professional degrees, he studied voice performance with Ms. Francis Daniels, MFA. and Dr. Richard W. Davis. While pursuing his professional degrees at PSU, Will Moreau worked for 7 years with the Pennsylvania Center for the Performing Arts (working on over 100 National Broadway Tours Productions including: Wynton Marsalis Sextet, Sarafina, Madama Butterfly-New York City Opera, Lost in Yonkers,Alvin Ailey American Dance Company, Cats, A Chorus Line, Dream Girls, La Traviata, View From the Bridge, Black Mombaso, The Great Gatsby, Rumors, Marriage of Figaro-New York City Opera, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane & Company "Uncle Tom's Cabin", Sound of Music, Into The Woods, Tito Puente & Latin Jazz All Stars, A Christmas carol, M. Butterfly, Tosca, Marvin Hamlish, Ballet Hispanico… ). In that capacity, Will Moreau served in various positions including: production technician, deck electrician, stage carpenter, property crews, run crews, stagehand. Will Moreau was also the House Manager for the Pennsylvania Center Stage, Summer Professional theater season. This required complete management responsibilities for events staged in 2600 seat, 972 seats and 100 seat theater summer stock. In this capacity he had the responsibility of coordination of 60 professional performers; 20,000 patrons; 200 volunteers; and 10 house staff.

As a singer of songs, Will Moreau has appeared as a soloist in concerts throughout the United States and internationally. Having performed for over 40 international dignitaries, Ambassadors and Embassies, Will Moreau has also performed at the Ty Llen Cultural Center in Wales, and at the Lincoln Center for Performing Arts. Will Moreau is among the new "crossover" artists, mixing the contemporary favorites, with standards, showtunes, Native American contemporary, ancient chanting/fusion, golden oldies and the classical aria. Such crossover artists, as they are often tagged, have a long line of predecessors, dating back to the operatic tenor Enrico Caruso, who nearly a century ago made his first recording. Will Moreau belongs the new generation of singers, like Russell Watson, Charlotte Church, and others that are trying to reach out to people and making other forms of music accessible to people who might otherwise be unfamiliar with these genres.
